The entire day off, and the weather is so inviting. Headed downtown to the Cleveland Art Museum for a little visual stimulation, and then I plan to spend the rest of the day outdoors!
This weather just makes me crave watermelon!

Cigarette Pant
The weather is cooling off just enough to actually feel comfortable outdoors. I can now comfortably wear my hair down without the constant urge to shave it all off.
A few free days this week give me the allowance to actually run around outside! I’m thinking picnics on the beach and drinks on the patio…..mmmm summer!

Partly Cloudy
It seems this outfit was inspired by the sky. This skirt is a new addition from H&M. I love the baby blue, and it just so happens I don’t have any baby blue in my closet. Since the temperature is expected to reach the upper 80’s this tank makes a perfect pairing on a warm and sunny day. The detail in the back shows some skin and offers a peak at a cute bralette! Top it all off with a gold studded bracelet and lace up oxfords for an on-the-go easy-breezy summer outfit!

DIY Inspiration
After a mishap in the laundry room, this shirt was on it’s way into the trash. Instead of throwing it out, I decided to try a little experiment. One tub of bleach and a few hours later, TA-DAH! My very own dip-dye shirt. You like?

Creating a Summer Wardrobe
Here are a few new additions for my summer wardrobe. Aerie has some of the most comfortable and delicate bralettes that are perfect for wearing under slinky tanks and lightweight tees. They come in a variety of styles and colors, perfect for hiding under a cami, or for a pop of color under a racerback.
This journal from Modcloth is perfect for the journal-er who doesn’t write everyday. I really enjoy the fun come-and-go vibe. It’s pages are full of fun drawings and spaces for lists and random doodling.
Francesca’s never seems to disappoint, this flirty sheer racerback tank will pair nicely with my new lace bralette! I can’t wait to welcome summer with bare arms and statement jewelry.
