The Evolution of an Outfit
65 and sunny, dress weather! Here is the step by step:
Step 1: begin by dancing around in summer staple dress
Step 2: add a pop of color with a basic (ie: shoes, bracelets, earrings, etc.)
Step 3: in Bowling Green you must always prepare for a cool breeze, hence the cardigan
Step 4: grab your bag and sunnies, TA-DAH!
The beginning of the end
Happy Monday! It’s the official beginning of finals week, which marks the end of the semester, which means the light at the end of the tunnel is near!
Moving beyond the stress of exams, the weather hasn’t been awful. Wearing flats isn’t a challenge when there is no snow on the ground. So I celebrate with a sophisticated get-up for a date with my text books and some vanilla tea up the street.
Oh! and did you notice the nails? That’s me avoiding my responsibilities and getting really DIY.

New Lengths
I’ve added two new skirts to my closet, a mini and a midi.
The black and white striped pleated mini will be very easy to dress up (a red sweater would look great!) and would also look adorable with a slouchy tee (unexpected, yet cute!).
The pleated polka dot midi is a great alternative to pants in the fall, and you don’t have to worry about crazy wind nearly as much. Strappy heels and a thin belt are great accessories to wear with this piece (it’s a great way to add length and slim the figure, and lord knows I need to extra inches beneath my feet!)
